In the afternoon, October 21, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Nguyen Manh Hien had a meeting with Mr. Takuya Kurity, Deputy Director of Land Economy and Construction and Engineering Industry Bureau under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan. Both sides exchanged to strengthen cooperation in natural resources and environment management in general and land management in particular.
The Deputy Minister said that Japan has been supporting Vietnam in documenting and finalizing land management mechanism; in exchanging experience in law implementation, ensuring people and enterprise’s rights… In the future, Vietnam expects to boost further bilateral cooperation in this sector.
Mr. Takuya Kurity said that Japan is willing to support Vietnam, shares experience in managing, documenting and implementing land regulations and policies with Vietnam.
It is expected that Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan will have a visit to Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam to specify cooperation items in the future. At the same time, the two Ministries is expected to sign memoranda in the sectors of land, map and water resources.
