The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has just coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local authorities to organize the handover ceremony, training to use the 1/25,000 Viet Nam - Cambodia border topographic map for the demarcation steering committee of Dak Lak province.

This is a legal - technical document that fully demonstrates the achievements of the two countries' land border demarcation and is an integral part of the Protocol on the Demarcation and Marker Planting of the Land Boundary signed between the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Kingdom of Cambodia signed on October 5, 2019, effective from December 22, 2020.

The map was built according to the highest technical criteria on current maps in the world, accurately showing the demarcated border line, produced by Danish company NIRAS Mapping A/S and carefully accepted by Vietnamese and Cambodian experts.

After handing over the map, the map technicians of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment organized the installation and instructions on how to use digital maps on computers, mobile phones, and training to use maps. In the field, officers, soldiers and staff members directly use the map set in performing border missions.
