Viet Nam has a climate change startup center

The Coalition for Climate Entrepreneurship (CCE Hub) has just been established and officially launched in Viet Nam. Viet Nam is the second country to implement the CCE program, with the first support activity being to gather and connect entrepreneurs on climate change through a creative space.

The establishment of CCE Hub in Viet Nam is within the framework of the Climate Change Startup Cooperation Program - a public-private partnership program introduced by the US Department of State at COP26.

With the establishment of CCE Hub, the parties signing a Memorandum of Understanding agree to coordinate to promote startup activities in the field of climate change, focusing on exploiting technology solutions and clean energy. .

CCE Hub will be located at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and will be operated as a dedicated creative space for entrepreneurs in a number of sustainable development fields, including energy, green agriculture, and finance. green policy, natural recovery, resilience to climate change.

The goal of this center is to create favorable conditions for establishing businesses that pioneer new solutions or find ways to innovate and effectively utilize existing solutions, on the basis that these businesses must have the ability to exist in the market.

CCE aims to address the climate crisis and contribute to the economic empowerment of developing countries by nurturing entrepreneurship focused on climate solutions, through capital support, capacity building resources, technical support, access to mentors and network building in early and growth stages.
