Currently, the National Remote Sensing Department (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) has completed a draft circular regulating the effective management, operation and use of remote sensing satellite reception stations and control stations in Viet Nam.
Circular applies to agencies with function of state management of remote sensing, agencies, organizations and individuals involved in the measurement of control image of the station's operation and data processing, remote sensing satellite control station and management of protection corridor works of receiver station, remote sensing control station.
The operating agency of the receiver station and remote sensing control station is responsible for protecting and regularly monitoring the current status of the work protection corridor in accordance with the law. At the same time, providing information about the departmental design of the protection corridor of the receiver, remote sensing control station as well as to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment through the National Remote Sensing Department.
Based on the content of periodic (annual, quarterly) and ad hoc reports as well as results of on-site inspection and assessment missions, the National Remote Sensing Department develops a general report on the current status data collection stations and remote sensing satellite control stations nationwide and advise and propose to the State, agencies in charge of receiving stations and control stations solutions, and plans appropriate adjustment, supplement, investment and upgrade to ensure the most efficient exploitation of the existing infrastructure system as well as long-term development in the future.
