e Land Law 2024 has just been announced by order of the President of Vietnam, effective from January 1, 2025. One of the five significant changes compared to the 2013 Land Law is the expansion of land use rights for Vietnamese people residing abroad.

The Asian Development Bank supports Viet Nam in achieving its climate goals

On the morning of January 23, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Cong Thanh had a reception and working session with Mr. Windfried Wicklein, General Director of the Southeast Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). At the meeting, the two sides discussed climate finance issues and support to help Viet Nam implement projects to combat climate change.

On January 12, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Environment of Japan organized the 8th Viet Nam - Japan environmental policy dialogue. On this occasion, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on environmental cooperation.
